The main attraction is, of course, the opportunity to sit behind the wheel of powerful, extremely fast cars, which you will rarely see on the streets of Polish cities. The Słomczyn racetrack is a typical track for rallycross – a type of racing that takes place on a closed circuit, in which part of the surface is covered with asphalt and part with gravel.
Its length is 1200 meters, which is slightly longer than the length of a typical rallycross track (about 1000 meters). The width of the track, meanwhile, is sixteen meters, which is the standard span for this type of facility.
The length and width of the track is more than adequate for driving any type of sports car available at the facility. It is sure to provide plenty of thrills no matter which car you decide to drive!
One of the important reasons for going to the Słomczyn track is the attractive location of the facility. Słomczyn is a town that is located just 40 kilometers from the Capital. Getting from Warsaw to Słomczyn isn’t much of a problem either, as the facility is close to the DK50 and the S7 expressway.
This is especially important also for those interested in car racing coming from other places than Warsaw. The ease of access and attractive location speak for the choice of this particular track.
Many racetracks open in Poland have some shortcomings due to the lack of modern solutions or better quality of the surface. The Słomczyn track underwent a thorough modernization in 2016, so it is adapted to all the challenges posed by modern motorsport.
The Słomczyn track is designed to be a training ground for both those who want to duel with sports cars and develop high speed on it during ordinary runs. The track is also suitable for drifting – the asphalt surface is of very high quality and can withstand intense sliding.
The quality of the surface and modernity is one thing. However, it is worth recalling the characteristics of the track itself. This is because it has a high level of complexity, characterized by a fair number of sharp turns, tight curves, but also straights where you will develop the highest speed.
All these features of the track – its design, location, quality of the surface, offer or length make it one of the most interesting facilities of its kind in Poland. Do you live in Warsaw, its vicinity or relatively close to Słomczyn? You should definitely experience the speed of your favorite vehicle on this track!
